We are excited to spotlight Beverly Swinehart, a “jack-of-all-trades” located in our Lewisburg office.
What do you specialize in (what is your role) here at WDEA?
“Jack of all trades. My current business card states Administrative Assistant” (Bev is responsible for all of our office technology and runs the show behind the scenes!)
What did you do before WDEA?
“I have been with WDEA since its inception in 2012. However, I have worked with Ron & Bea Dreese and Brian Elsasser for the past 30+ years in various entities. I say that Brian and I sort of grew up (matured) together.”
What is your education experience?
“I hold an ASB degree in accounting from Thompson Institute of Harrisburg, PA”
What is your favorite flavor of ice cream?
“Butter Pecan and Moose Tracks”
What is a fun fact(s) about yourself?
“Most people may not think that I would like to go fishing. The truth is I do enjoy the outdoors. The first time Jeff asked if I wanted to go along fishing my response was I will take a book along but don’t think I will be happy with a fishing rod in my hand. Now, I don’t like if he goes fishing without me. We have a small bass boat and like to fish but just don’t get out very often.”
If you received a tax refund of $1,000 (and had to spend it on yourself) how would you spend it? (No bills!)
“Visit my friend in Idaho”
If you had to live in a country other than the United States, where would it be and why?
“Canada. We like to vacation in Canada and enjoy fishing the Big Rideau Lake. However, I think I want to be somewhere warmer during our US winter months.”
Are you in need of friendly and professional accounting assistance? Does Canadian wildlife peak your interest? Perhaps you wish to become a jack-of-all-trades? If any of these describe you, contact Bev by email at bswinehart@wdeapc.com or call the Lewisburg office at 570.524.0488
