We are seeking an experienced and self-motivated accountant to be based out of our Selinsgrove, Pennsylvania office. The successful canidate will work in non-profit and governmental auditing, individual and business tax compilation, and general for-profit accounting.
WDE&A has a strong commitment to help clients in many ways other than just straight accounting and tax. As a member of the Wagner, Dreese, Elsasser & Associates, P.C. “family”, you will work directly with clients to build relationships, solve problems, and develop a rapport of trust. A successful candidate will share this philosophy and enthusiasm.

Preferred Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or equivalent work experience desired
Working toward becoming a licensed CPA (or already hold the designation)
2-5 years of experience in public accounting
Ability to prioritize, work independently, and meet deadlines
Experience with QuickBooks, Excel and other accounting software
Detail oriented; attention to accuracy
Professional and approachable demeanor
Flexibility, positive attitude and sound communication skills
Exhibit high moral and ethical values
